edTPA National Academy of Consultants
The edTPA National Academy of Consultants, run by AACTE and the Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity (SCALE), provides a network of expert teachers and higher education faculty to support the implementation of edTPA in teacher preparation programs nationwide.
Academy members are organized into two strands: (1) Scoring Training and (2) Implementation Support. Several hundred individuals who applied to Strand 1 already are being trained as official edTPA scorers. SCALE is now reviewing Strand 2 applications. Successful applicants will be trained to provide edTPA implementation support to those who request assistance with workshops, resource development, local evaluation training, and more.
SCALE is currently accepting rolling admission for the Academy. Faculty experienced with edTPA or other performance-based assessments of teaching are encouraged to apply.
